I'm fairly excited because I have officially finished and printed out my Vietnam research paper. Together with teh cover page and the work cited page it is like 16 or 17 pages long. I think that is probably tthe longest that I have ever written by myself. I am going to turn it in early on Monday... also, I think this is a first... turning a final paper in early. But never fear, I have begun researching for my next paper... the practice of Self-Immolation of Buddhist monks. Focusing primarily on those done in protest during the 1963 Buddhist Crisis in S. Vietnam.

Supposedly, in the Lotus Sutra there is talk of ones own body being as incense asending forever into the clouds of something such as that. I don't really know. I was hoping to be able to get this one done so that I have nothing left except for tests during finals week. I nice goal... but I don't know how likely that is going to be.

Refering to my earlier post... my 54% turned into an 85%, slightly above the class average. I am the man!

I went to play basketball today... I was ripping it up, but then I came down on someones foot and sprained my ankle really bad... so now I am in the process of limping around. It's not the worst that I have ever done... but reast assured that it will probably suck tomorrow when I wake up.

I've kinda started dating this one girl. We have gone out a couple of times. Can you imagine that... me going on a date? Weird huh? Her name is Jenn, she's a 22 year old Neural Science major from Portland. She just applied to Grad school here and maybe a couple of other places. That's all I have to say about that. Amen.
